Challenge: Increase trust in mainstream American News in a climate where trust is lost.

Idea: CNN branded condoms. The same way condoms offer trusted protection form pregnancy and STIs, CNNs condoms will reminds its users of its reliability as a global news channel protection from "fake news." What's more reliable than 99.9%?

On a quest to increase trust in American news, CNN partnered with a condom brand to reveal the reliability of its services.

THE CHALLENGE

Increase trust in mainstream American News in a climate where trust is lost.

THE ANSWER

The same way condoms offer trusted protection form pregnancy and STIs, CNNs condoms will reminds its users of its reliability as a global news channel protection from "fake news." What's more reliable than 99.9%?

THE EXECUTION

We created a series of  colorized print and digital ads that emphasize the main message of distrust. 

Through the imagery the viewer understands that CNN branded condoms are the only way to protect against "fake news."
